Our History

Halton Pro-Life was incorporated as a charitable organization in 1974 when twelve committed individuals formed the first board of directors to guide our educational efforts toward the goal of promoting the dignity and worth of all human beings within the community of Halton.

Halton Pro-Life has grown from operating out of the basement of its foundress, Mrs. Bette Hamon, to its present location in the  heart of Burlington with public signage and visibility, attracting many visitors on a daily basis.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote greater respect for the dignity and worth of all human beings from  conception/fertilization to natural death.

We accomplish our mission through dissemination of factual information on the Life issues.

The Life issues include: Abortion, Assisted Suicide & Euthanasia, Embryonic and Adult Stem Cell Research, Human Sexuality, Fetal Development and related topics.

We support only peaceful means to promote our message.
