Hard-line pro-choice turns pro-life, thanks to Sun News and HPL

Halton Pro-Life helped convert a hard-line pro-choice, pro-abortion advocate to pro-life via national television on Sun News TV’s new Michael Coren show, the Arena. A woman from BC emailed Michael Coren to tell him that she had always been pro-choice and pro-abortion, but when she saw a video clip of an ultrasound of an abortion on The Arena the Friday before Labour Day, she instantly became pro-life. There is no knowing how many other people were touched by the show.
The clip of the ultrasound was from the Silent Scream, a movie made in the 1980s by Dr. Bernard Nathanson who had quit doing abortions - he had done some 75,000 of them -after witnessing an ultrasound-guided abortion.
Halton Pro-Life’s part in all this? We had loaned our video-tape copy of the Silent Scream to Mr. Coren from our Resource Centre. Documentary film maker Kevin Dunn, of Dunn Media, which we will soon post to this website.
Mr. Coren showed the clip during an interview with Rebecca Richmond of National Campus Life Network. You can see the interview and the clip on YouTube at http://www.sunnewsnetwork.ca/video/1141149488001
This is just one example of the type of life-saving service Halton Pro-Life is able to give, made possible by the commitment and generosity of our members and donors, supporters and corporate sponsors of our Respect Life Fundraising Banquet, Nov. 11 (for details of the main Banquet speaker, Scott Klusendorf of the Life Training Institute, click here).
